    Extra Cushioning

    Featuring extra-deep stacks of midsole foam, extra-cushioned shoes offer improved impact absorption, comfort, and even performance. With modern foams providing energy return through your stride, the more foam under your foot, the bigger the spring forward. The trade-off of extra foam is additional weight and reduced ground feel. It can also be expensive to create and stabilise so much foam.

    Heel clip causes foot pain!

    Bottom line up front this shoe hurts my feet. It's not the cushioning but the plastic heel clip the wraps around the heel and extends to the lateral sides of the feet. Where the plastic clip ends abruptly and it just digs into my 5th metatarsal head. Only got to over half a mile into running and I had to stop because it was irritating my 5th metatarsals. I even took the shoe off and walked back home on my socks cause even walking with the shoes on hurt so much. Tried on other occasions to do a run walk but the heel clip is just digging into my 5th MTT. So this shoe has just become a glorified paper weight or door stop hence the 1 star!

    I tried them on in the store, fell in love and bought them on the spot. So why two stars? The sneakers are super soft and squishy, at first you think that’s amazing but after wearing them for months now they are my least favorite shoe. They are extremely unstable and I hate how they feel on my feet when on anything but concrete. They actually got softer after 300 miles and worse than before. The actually make my legs, knees and feet feel more fatigued. Today I had enough and threw them out. I’m going back to adidas Ultraboost DNA which provides the perfect balance of stability and cushion. These things are like walking on marshmallows.

    Nike Zoom X Invincible 3 review

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these shoes for a couple of weeks now and they are holding up nicely. Extremely lightweight for the level of cushion. The upper feels slightly stiff to the touch but doesn't feels fine on the foot. The Zoom X midsole gives you plenty of extra height and I was worried about stability but the midsole is also extremely wide (the foot down view is wild!) which has kept me stable. The Zoom X is extremely comfortable with a great level of bounce. The outsole is also very grippy and has coped well with some very wet conditions , just avoid large puddles! If you are looking for a cushioned running shoe then the Zoom X Invincible 3 is a great choice.

    Disappointed, HEEL SLIP!! has lost magic of the first two versions

    I’m a massive fan of the invincible 1 and 2s but sorry to say the third version is a massive let down. I feels stiffer less bouncy and less soft the the first too. It’s still a soft shoe but it has just lost some of the magic the two had. I would’ve still said it’s a good shoe tho apart from a massive issue and that’s lock down in the heel, Even with a runner knot I had to tie the lances so hard to stop heel slipping it was not comfortable and couldnt completely stop the slip. Nike please go back to the drawing board on this one and bring back all the things that made the first two versions so great ,bring back the magic!!! Also get rid of the heel slip

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With its premium zoomx midsole, ultra durable outsole and unmatched knit upper, the Nike Invincible Run 3 is the perfect upgrade for anyone looking for a go-to shoe for those easy, recovery runs. Use of pebax in the midsole gives the Invincibles an edge over the competition with a bouncy and springy feel but maintains an extra level of stability and comfort for all runners come rain or shine. The use of recycled fibres allows the upper to be extremely breathable and rugged while maintaining a stylish exaggerated Nike swoosh to show off its high quality. Coupled with a durable outsole, the Nike Invincible 3 will keep you up and running no matter what the circumstances.

    Comfortable ride!

    This is my first pair of Nike's. Initially, I was a little back and forth on the upper as it felt loose in some areas and tight in others. There was some heel slippage on the first run as well that a runners knot cured. After 4 runs, twenty miles, and going back to normal tying, these shoes have broken in nicely and fit great with no slipping. They are incredibly comfortable and stable and are at home on the treadmill and the road. These are NOT go fast shoes by any means and nail the recovery or easy run role for me that still go the distance. They look great in the white/blue/orange colorway. Very happy with them!

    Big step backward

    Huge disappointment. I loved the first 2 editions. The heel slip on the 3 is maddening. The lack of cushioning near the heel and ankle is annoying. The weird hard thing at the top of the tongue makes it difficult to lace tightly and you have to lace it tightly because of the heel slip. I also had a rubber feature of the tread start to separate from the sole after only a couple of months of use which NEVER happened to me with Nikes before. The upper is not as soft or welcoming as the 2. I basically hope the 4 will be a reissue of the 2 and whoever led the re-design of the 3 gets transferred to the mailroom. What do I like? The cushion and the energy return is still great.

    Nike Zoomx Invincible Run FK3

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Zoomx Invincible Run FK3 shoes are very comfortable. There is a lot of cushioning in the sole providing a soft step. The style of the shoes is attractive for everyday wear. I typically wear either a women's 10.5 (US) and 11 (US); I tried the women's 10.5 (US). I think a women's 11(US) or a 10.5 wide would have been a lightly better fit as I found these to be slightly too narrow at the toe for my feet. I did relace the shoes to allow for a wider toe, which helped. I also use custom arch supports which fist well in these shoes. I was able to wear these at work for an 8 hour day and was comfortable all day.
