RACEDAY FOOTWEAR

Arguably the most important selection for your Marathon set-up is what's on foot. On average, a Marathon takes 50,000-55,000 steps, which means what's under foot is crucial in making the experience as enjoyable as it can be. Below is a selection of super-shoes, the ones that'll help you get from A-B as quickly as possible, but if you need something more structured, we have plenty of options available here.

ELECTRONICS

Electronic running accessories can be the difference between a good performance and your best one yet. A top-of-the-range electronic running watch can help you maintain your race pace and track your run, and audio accessories can be a worthy companion to set the in-ear vibe for race (when legal!). After all, if it's not on Strava, did it even happen?

Ray Barlow

Having suffered from Chronic Fatigue for over a decade, I am a recent convert to the joys of running. Although every run steals a lot of energy, the mental health and fitness benefits more than make up for it. My runs are mainly across the back of the nearby beaches, dodging between the tourists. When not geeking out over the latest running tech, you can find me trying new gins, making gins, or boring anyone within earshot about gin.
