    Win On Air.

The Nike Blueprint pack is designed by athletes, for athletes – those who know what it takes to win. Run further. Do it for longer. Built to last with each step,  it's time to outpace your fiercest competition: yourself.

    Improved Transitions

The heel and forefoot are now connected providing a smoother heel-to-toe transition.

    Comfort & Containment

The new Atomknit 3.0 upper offers improved containment, breathability and midfoot support.

    More Energy Return

Dual Air Zoom units cushion impact and return energy, launching you onto your next step.

    Nike Alphafly Next Percent 3

The lightest Alphafly ever, and a world record smashing shoe before it is even launched, with the fastest ever men’s marathon, and the second fastest women’s marathon time already to its name, the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next Percent 3 in Multi Colour/Multi Colour is more than capable of living up to the hype.

The distinctive shape may have disappeared, but the performance and marathon winning pedigree is still there, with the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next Percent 3 taking the formula for success to new heights. The full-length carbon plate is wider for a more stable platform to explode from, and that ZoomX foam midsole is now fully connected, giving even smoother transitions, and taking away any reason heel strikers may have had to skip the shoe in the past.It also has a new upper, Atomknit is designed to give improved containment in every direction, while simultaneously improving breathability. The integrated tongue uses lofted padding to alleviate lace pressure. If you haven’t tried the Alphafly before, now is a great time to try it, smoother, lighter, and blisteringly fast, and if you are already a convert? It just got even better, with all the propulsion you know and love driving you to new heights.Released in time for the summer games, The Blueprint pack is inspired by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman’s sketchbooks and notes, with the blue tick a homage to his obsession with performance and weight saving, where he would initially “dot” the famous Swoosh with a blue ball point to save weight on stitching a logo.

    Alphafly

With a huge stack height – the depth of foam under your feet – and a lightweight design inspired by the shoes that broke the two-hour marathon mark, the Alphafly is the shoe to beat your PB in. It’s laser focused on high-speed runs and topping podiums.

    Carbon Plate

Carbon plates have well-researched benefits and a seemingly endless list of race wins and world records.

They create the firmer feel that fast racers are looking for and help to guide the foot through your stride, providing a touch of extra support. They can also help create a rocker feel, with the stiffness allowing the shoe to pivot – as the toe goes down, the heel must come up, easing you into your next stride.

Although stiff, they do flex, providing an energised pop of forward momentum as the plate fights to retain its shape.

Each brand, and almost every shoe, uses a plate differently. Different shapes, thicknesses, and designs are used to prioritise a different aspect of performance. Some aim exclusively to guide the stride, while others focus solely on propulsion.

    Extra Cushioning

Featuring extra-deep stacks of midsole foam, extra-cushioned shoes offer improved impact absorption, comfort, and even performance. With modern foams providing energy return through your stride, the more foam under your foot, the bigger the spring forward. The trade-off of extra foam is additional weight and reduced ground feel. It can also be expensive to create and stabilise so much foam.

    Neutral

Neutral running shoes are designed to provide a smooth sensation without correcting your gait. They allow your natural motion to flow, while still offering a snug fit and a cushioned feel underfoot. As such, they’re ideal for runners who don’t overpronate.

    Tempo Running Shoes

Tempo running shoes are engineered for speed and agility, optimizing performance during high-intensity workouts. With lightweight construction and responsive cushioning, these shoes excel during your tempo runs, helping runners maintain pace and efficiency.

    Race Day Shoes

Why Should You Have a Shoe Rotation?

Best shoes in the business! Go half a size up though.

The shoes are exactly what a person needs to perform their upcoming marathon. The Nike Alphafly 3’s are extremely responsive and have the best energy return out of every stride compared to the competition. I would recommend to people making this investment to go a half size up. I am a true size 10 in Nike shoes (I generally run in the Nike Pegasus Line for reference), but the Alphafly’s in the Pink/Purple color-way at least do run smaller compared to most Nike models. I have tried on a pair of size 10.5 Alphafly and they fit more like a true to size 10 Nike running shoe. Overall, these are awesome shoes and are the best marathon shoes on market!

Much better with diagonal tie and second go.

First run was a disaster. My big toe hit the end of the shoes the whole run and I kept getting shooting pains in my feet throughout the run. Went home and boxed them up to ship back. Watched a podcast that said it took a couple runs to break in and looked on YouTube for different tying methods and decided to give them another try. Much, much better. Going to run my first half marathon in them this weekend as opposed to my Vaporfly 3 (which I absolutely love) because I think they’ll be better at the end when I’ll be dead tired. Not a big fan of the color, but it’s growing on me. Still pretty pricey though, not a star off for the price and first run.

    Excellent for Racing

Comparatively, the Alphafly 3 is 1) lighter 2) more stable (especially around curves) 3) easier on the knees 4) adaptable (one can walk in them) 5) durable (the tread appears to be tougher) Conversely, they operate very differently than the Alphafly 1 and 2, which are front dominant shoes that make one bounce like Tigger the Tiger from step to step. The Alphafly 3 exchanges the great bounce for stability, especially around corners (there's a world of difference). For racing, this exchange is highly advantageous. For an easy run, its a disadvantage (the shoes do all the hard work for Alphafly 1 and 2; the runner must do more work with Alphafly 3).

    Extremely Comfortable, but Disappointed

I purchased the alphaflys after I had a manufacturing issue with a previous Nike shoe. I only run 2 miles a day on paved road and in good weather. My original Nike shoes lasted me years, and unfortunately these only lasted a few months. The sole degraded extremely quick to the point of which the foam was exposed and the material become delaminated from the shoe. They are extremely comfortable and help with your running form simple by design. I absolutely love the shoe, it just didn’t last very long. I’ll attach pictures so those can refer to my comments. I’m a huge Nike fan, and was simply disappointed they only lasted 4 months.

    Incredible Marathon Shoe

Fantastic shoe for marathon racing. Love the sock like fit and breathability of the upper, it hugs your foot and it feels locked down without being to tight. The combination of the Zoom Pods, Zoom X foam and Carbon plate is perfect - the shoe is super light, very cushioning and incredibly responsive especially when you are going for it on race day at your marathon goal pace. It's so good that my feet felt super comfortable the entire 26.2 miles and I basically forgot I was wearing shoes at all. Probably overkill for training but on race day these are 100% worth every dollar spent on them. I had a 5 minute marathon PR in these shoes and no doubt in my mind they helped!

Great Race shoe but not Perfect

Not perfect but the best racing supershoe that I’ve used among VF2, VF3,adizero adios, AF3. Just received VF4s but yet to run in them. My first run in these AF3s was a shakeout before a half marathon. Was concerned as the shoes squeaked for about 2.5 miles but that finally subsided. Have run 2 half marathons in these- each time was PR by 4 minutes. Best thing for me is the low volume toe box. I have narrow, low volume feet. The VF3s are way too baggy in the toe box for me. These shoes do “hoof clop” loudly like the old tempo next % trainers. Ppl always turning their head as I come up on them🤣

Short life. Not as good as prior versions.

I have run in more than 30 pair of Nike "go fast" shoes (4%, next%, vaporfly, alphafly, etc.) since 2018 and have appreciated all of them for various reasons. I have typically also gotten great mileage out of each model and version. Typically, more than 300 miles. Except for the Alphafly 3's Both shoes are fraying on the upper outside heel area to the left and right of the pull-on strap. This is after 25 miles. I have a running buddy and hers are doing the same thing. Fast shoes while they last. Have a second pair still in box. Will definitely be using these only for PR or BQ races.

    Didn't Last 20 miles

I've bought the Alphafly 1 & 2 more than twice each and they lasted 3-4 months while running about 8 miles a week total, but these Alphafly 3 did not last 20 miles. It's like with each edition they keep removing more & more of the sole/bottom grip of the shoe just to replace it with more foam. I noticed cracks in the foam the within the first 4 miles, tears by the 8th and the grip completely fell off by the 20th mile, smh. I don't see myself buying another pair until they have way more sole/tread at the bottom because I wouldn't even be able to complete a marathon in a brand new pair.

    Road Running

It might say road, but we don’t just mean pounding closed-off streets on race day. Road shoes are predominantly for the pavement.

They feature flat rubber traction for confident footing in the city and enhanced cushioning to soak up the strain of every stride.

    Best for Race Day

Race day running shoes are built with two priorities in mind: lightness and propulsion.

To keep weight down, the outsole uses thinner rubber, lighter compounds, and targeted placement-reducing bulk without sacrificing grip. Up top, minimalist uppers with stripped-back overlays shave off extra grams for a fast, streamlined feel.

Underfoot, lightweight and responsive foams are often paired with internal plates to deliver that signature race-day snap-helping you stay efficient and driven from the gun to the finish line.

Designed to be fast and focused, race day shoes trade long-term durability for performance. They're not built for daily use-but when it matters most, they deliver.
