The On Cloudstratus in Mineral/Rust is a structured runner with large amounts of cushioning to absorb the blows of the road, without missing out on energy return. The premium breathable upper gives great comfort and feel.
The cushioning in the On Cloudstratus uses a series of pods or clouds that collapse under the impact section of your stride, but then become a more solid base to push off from in the later stage. This provides a soft cushioned feel (like running on clouds) in the early stage, that transforms for explosive take offs later.The cloud stratus uses double layers of these pods for even more cushioning. Delivering maximum cushioning while staying responsive. Helion superfoam is used in the midsole which manages to fuse stiffer elements with softer sections so that one lightweight foam can provide all the cushioning and responsiveness needed.An anatomically engineered mesh works with a star lacing system to wrap the foot in a secure fit that supports your natural movement.
