    The ASICS Women’s Gel-Nimbus 26 features a new Engineered knit upper which offers an even more plush feel around the foot, enhanced by a stretchy knit tongue and collar construction that offers a more adaptive fit as well as improved comfort.A new hybrid ASICSGRIP outsole provides an improved soft feel underfoot, with enhanced traction, and advanced durability. That midsole gives incredibly soft landings thanks to the softness of the PureGEL in the heel, and a massive stack of midsole foam.The FF BLAST PLUS ECO cushioning is not only more sustainable, it provides and amazing blend of softness, cushioning and responsiveness, that is with you every step of the way.     NIMBUS

    The iconic ASICS GEL-NIMBUS has afforded feet out-of-this-world levels of cushioning, comfort, and impact absorption since the late 90s. A neutral shoe, it delivers a soft and luxurious ride whatever distance you put it through.

    Regular Cushioning

    Regular cushioning offers a blend of lightness, comfort, and ground feel. Popular for shorter distance racing as well as training and daily mileage running, the lower stack of midsole foam offers inherent stability and a lighter feel on your foot when compared to max-stack shoes.

    Neutral

    Cushioned, spongy and light

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing ASICS Nimbus since 2005 but over the last few years I had switched to Novablast. So it was great to try the Nimbus again after a few years and see how they have changed. The Nimbus 26 are super spongy, and are have been a great addition to my return back to exercise after having my twin boys via emergency c-section . At the moment I am building up walks and they have been really comfy and have helped cushion my Morton’s neuromas which have flared up after pregnancy. The uppers are breathable and fit to my feet like a glove. I love the colour (I have the mint green) too. I can’t wait to try a few runs in these.

    My first running shoes!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I look for simplicity and dependency when I invest in a pair of running shoes. I want one that can support me in all the different types of runs. Nothing complicated. This is my 3rd pair of Gel Nimbus I will keep buying it over and over again. The support, the cushion of the sole and just everything about it is an all around great shoe. I would say best for people who are investing into buying good gear for training for marathons or half’s. No wonder there are 26 versions of this shoe. It just keeps getting better. Expensive but in my case I only use 1 shoe so that’s worth the investment.

    Simply the *best*

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of these shoes, I love them so SO much. Freakishly comfortable for longer distances and easy runs, this is the ultimate workhorse of a shoe. They get me through the miles without foot soreness building up, or my shin splints flaring. The fit is perfect, like PERFECT. I have flat feet and narrow ankles, and they don't slip around or give me instep pain at all. Lowkey want to stockpile these runners in case they stop being made because I find it so hard to get a pair that doesn't cause pain. Anyway, you can pry these Gel-Nimbus out of my cold dead hands (or feet!) 😂

    Fantastically cushioned and comfy

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've previously had the Gel Nimbus 25 and really love the comfort, so was excited to try the new Gel Nimbus 26. My only problem with the 25s is that they offer no grip at all if a happen to come across a bit of wet mud or grass. I normally run on tarmac, but occasionally mud can be washed across and even this was a problem for the 25s! The new 26s are much better, although they still struggled more than others at a recent 25km race I did. But I just love the comfort, so am prepared to put up with a bit of slipping for the lovely, supportive and cushioned run they give me.

    Wonderfully Comfortable

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having worn Cumulus trainers for many years, I was totally turned when I tried on the Gel Nimbus 26. The most cushioned sole and supportive and soft ankles - I have not had to break these in and covered many miles pain free, blister free and they just fit my feet and style perfectly. I can’t rate these highly enough for comfort. Sized ever so slightly than my cumulus in my opinion and a great range of colours. My daughter has now bought a pair after trying mine on! Delighted with these - the comfort expected from ASICS has not let me down.

    Nimbus 26: My Ultimate Race Shoe

    I honestly cannot remember the last time I was so excited about a shoe. I am very rigid and very stuck in my ways, including my choice in running shoes and the Nimbus 26 has been my staple shoes for all my short and long training runs and races. I ran the Comrades Marathon (90km race in South Africa) with the Nimbus 26 and it gave me exceptional comfort and support throughout my whole race. I have also ran most of my 42km races with it too. It is a great shoe for beginners and experienced runners and for all types of training.
