This here is RWLK Goalkeeping, created by Dutch goalkeeping legend Ronald Waterreus and his team of specialist designers and engineers.
RWLK gloves are made using all the former Rangers and PSV stopper’s experience, resulting in a product that’s primed and ready for professional play on the elite stage. With the combination of passion for goalkeeping gloves and 20 years of experience playing at the top level of domestic and international football, Waterreus (below, left) combined his knowledge with the input of young talent from today to give RWLK the possibility to craft the most premium goalkeeping glove collection
RWLK products are manufactured using premium quality German Latex only, with only one mission in mind, to make sure professional, semi-professional and amateur goalkeepers were receiving the same high-end materials and latex.
Throughout the last 12 months RWLK have been working behind the scenes to design their latest ‘Metro’ glove collection in collaboration with Jasper Cillessen of Valencia (below) and The Netherlands National team. The Metro drops as the flagship glove in the RWLK collection and uses the finest German latex and other components to make the glove reach perfection in comfort and grip.
The first phase of the journey of the Metro glove was the name which sees the backhand inspired by the train system in Eindhoven where Ronald Waterreus played over 355 Games for PSV. RWLK goalkeeper gloves worked to deliver 3 colours on the glove range, with Orange and black as the main combo along with JC initials on the 2 middle fingers for Jasper Cillessen which integrate well with the black and orange of the Dutch national team.
Along with the twin wrapped thumb, the Metro glove features a new cut new that’s exclusive to RWLK goalkeeper gloves. The overlap cut which features a flat palm with latex overlapping on to the fingertips adds unreal comfort along with the premium extra soft 3.5 German latex perfect in all weather conditions.
RWLK also partnered with Pink Ribbon to help raise awareness around breast cancer and Jasper Cillesen wore the glove (above) throughout October. You can still bag your pair of those here.
