Founded by William J. Riley in 1906, New Balance started small, producing highly flexible, three-point arch supports for those that suffered discomfort wearing shoes, all inspired by the daily balancing acts performed by Williams’ own backyard chickens as they nimbly navigated the coop. Rolling on to 1972, under new owner Jim Davis, New Balance foresaw a shift in the market. Since its release in 2020, the New Balance 327 has quickly gained popularity in the fashion world, becoming a go-to sneaker for those looking for a blend of retro style and contemporary flair. The design concept itself draws from the original running styles of the New Balance 320 and the Super Comp, shoes that came out in the late 70s. Armed with their extensive back catalogue of heritage classics, in 2020 New Balance took on the challenge of crafting “The Ultimate Leisure Shoe”, turning to their 70s archives in particular for inspiration. Manchester designer Charlotte Lee was given this daunting task, and she set about mixing elements from some of their most iconic runners such as the 320, 355, and SuperComp. Taking NB’s running heritage in the direction of comfort and relaxation, the resulting 327 brings signature New Balance details and modifies the 70s aesthetic of its forebears, fusing the original style with contemporary lines and textile elements. New Balance 327

I bought these trainers as I had an upcoming trip to New York and a friend recommended them for comfort. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase a pair. They did not disappoint, these are the most comfortable pair of trainers I’ve ever had. I walked 47 miles in total during my New York trip and I didn’t get any blisters or foot discomfort at all.
They look great and stylish, I’ve had a few compliments on the look of them.
I’d highly recommend for look and comfort.

327s extremely good looking!

This is my second pair of 327s from NB. After previously owning a pair of the black/white colourway (which I still have and wearing them to this day), I decided to go for the all black 327s, and I'm not disappointed with my decision. They are comfortable and fits so neatly on your feet. For me personally, it's definitely true to size, and the style, design and selection of colours that the 327 offers was the main reason for me to buy again.

Cool design bad functionality

These shoes look nice but don’t feel good.
For reference I am size 49 quite tall and in decent shape.
Maybe it’s because I have wide feet. I don’t really now but after more than an hour of wearing these my ankle starts to hurt. I gave them a good few tries but ultimately had to return them.
I feel like my foot is almost spilling out of the shoe. The new age design is looks cool but I think you can easily have an injury in these shoes.

Really comfortable and cute but...

I was really pleased to get my hands on these after eyeing them for months. They feel really comfortable, even with my wide flat feet (if you are between sizes, go for the larger one). The only minor things that were disappointing was the quality of the laces as they look and feel cheap and the foamy part of the sole was creased (although not noticeable when wearing them).

Most Comfortable Trainers Ever

This is my second pair of 327’s. After years of suffering with pain in the arch and ball of my foot I finally took the risk and bought a pair of 327’s and haven’t looked back. Super comfortable, great fit (true to size fit as well) and amazing durability - it took my last pair almost 1 and a 1/2 years to wear down on the sole. Would highly recommend.

Great trainers, great look and lots of comments from people asking about them. I have a pair, my sister and partner also, these are suited to all ages, we are females in our 40’s and 50’s and now my sons girlfriend would also like a pair, she. Is 18. A very versatile trainer both causal and dress wear.

Not as happy as usual with fit

I have several pairs of 327s all size 6 and fit perfectly… when comparing the latest 6 with others they are slightly smaller so although I will get away with them I will have to wear a very thin sock. I do hope they wear in okay or a waste … I won’t but online again - can’t be bothered to return

I bought a pair of these and after one wear, the stitched panel at the top of the laces had completely come off and the stitching broken. I had to pay for a local shoesmith to restitch the panel. So not the cheapest pair of shoes for such average quality. But very confortable.
