How to Get Started at a parkrun
Don't wait for the year to progress. Get involved, start this Saturday!
parkrun has developed into one of the most recognised running organisations to involve the young, old, new and experienced runner. But how do you get started on your parkrun journey?

All parkrun's are run weekly (no pun intended), every Saturday at 9am and all distanced at 5km (3.1 miles). For any younger parkrunners who are aged 4-14 year's old and don't want to run the full 5km parkrun, there are also junior parkruns held on Sunday that are 2km. The beauty of parkrun is that it's free and open to anyone and everyone; from those taking the first steps of their running journey to elite athletes getting some miles in!
