With a brand-new wave plate design and an upgraded heel cushioning insert, the smooth ride of the Mizuno Wave Rider 28 in Vintage Indigo/Neo Mint/Frontier Blue just got pumped up to the next level.
Using a glorious looking Jacquard Air mesh upper, the Mizuno Wave Rider keeps it desirability high, and with a sculpted tongue, pull heel tab and flexible PU print overlays, the upper brings all the hold and comfort you could wish for as well.The hugely durable, and highly rated X 10 rubber is used in the outsole for great traction that will last mile after mile.
Within the midsole, Mizuno have used the same Enerzy foam as in previous models, but now include a large section of foam below the wave plate made from Enerzy Nxt. Softer, lighter, and more responsive, it gives a turbo charged feel to your run.
The enhanced wave plate features raised walls to improve support, a cut out in the heel to give a softer landing, and a targeted honeycomb structure to improve plate stiffness.
It is also designed to follow the natural shape of your foot for a smooth transition from landing to toe off.
