The ASICS Gel-Nimbus 27 increases the amount of foam under your foot, and with the plush, effortless feel of FF Blast Plus Eco guiding you that can only be a good thing. Like the previous version it also features the soft and smooth feel of PureGel in the heel, absorbing the shock of every landing.
Cradling the foot, a new engineered mesh upper provides a lightweight and breathable feel. A stretch tongue and plush collar lining ensures the level of comfort remains high all around the foot.
At the bottom of the shoe a hybrid ASICSGRIP outsole helps to deliver that soft feel through the transition, but also affords you excellent traction in any conditions.
Its not just your feet that will benefit from the Nimbus, with a recycled upper, and a midsole foam with a carbon footprint 27% lower than industry average, the whole world will reap the rewards.

Soft & stable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of protection from the ground, but the midsole slaps the ground so loud! True to size but borderline runs long, with loads of width. Very stiff but plush heel counter, that required me to tie a runners loop to stop heel slip. Stability is good and I slightly over pronate with some shoes. The tongue is thin and stretchy, but you have to be careful locking down because you feel the laces tight if you don’t cinch the knot high on the tongue. The upper is ok in general though. I think people over hype the ‘comfort’ levels of this shoe. Overall the shoe will take you across all levels of mileage but at a slow pace, as the shoe is very heavy! I think they will last up to 500 miles or so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The comfiest running shoes! I’ve got wide feet and have been running in women’s nimbus 26 for the past year. I was worried that with them not being wide fit they’d be just a bit tight when my feet swell up during my upcoming marathon, so I was delighted to discover the men’s version went all the way down to a size 5, giving me some extra width. Been out on a few long runs with them and my feet are very happy!

Not great . Insoles are hard with no give

Bought upgrade as I have had the 22s 24s and 25s.
All great and comfortable
However these 27s are not comfy. The insole is rock hard no give in it. All my others have noticeable give
The shoe also seemed bigger for the size and not a great fit
I dont understand why companies make such drastic changes to a previously good product

Improves on a great range

I use this as my daily trainer and for my long runs where I am looking to go for a steady easy pace.
I am UK size 8 and prefer to go half a size up for the extra toe space at the front.
