Well made but meh design

I thought I would like the little finger-like bumps on the massage stick, but in reality it makes for a rough massage experience. It still does the job, but I feel like I have to go over an area multiple times because the gaps are too big to hit all my muscles evenly in one roll. I also feel like they varied the texture just for the sake of appearance - the longer, horizontal ridges on the left and right sides of the roller pretty much do nothing and are hardly used. However, it does feel well-made with nice, plus rubberized handles and good rolling action.

Keeping me injury-free!

I bought this kit at the beginning of my training plan for a half-marathon - my second attempt after injury derailed me the first time. I've had chronic problems with piriformis syndrome for at least 3 years. When the kit arrived in the mail, and I watched the how-to videos, I was initially a little disappointed in the simplicity of the whole thing. However, I began using the massage ball and calf-roller regularly and as directed, and I'm SO glad to say I successfully completed a 20 wk training plan AND 13.1 miles...all w/o injury!!! While simple, I attribute a great deal of my success to this kit, and I have already recommended it to numerous friends. It's a little pricey, but I think it's well worth it, and there's no way I'd go back and find a cheaper product. Thanks so much, TriggerPoint!

Great for athletes in any sport!

I am a runner and every so often I get an ache or pain somewhere. Often it might hurt one place but the real issue is a tight spot somewhere else. Just a quick roll with this hand held foam roller and I can identify the spot easily! Then I work out that knot in that specific spot. Being hand held, I can bring it to races and leave it in my car for long trips. My kids have each used it at times especially my son who is a wrestler. My daughter uses it after being on her feet all day at work. We have saved ourselves many trips to the doctor not to mention helped alleviate aches and pains quickly. The bumps on the stick are perfect for helping message out the knots and pain, just make sure to watch the videos and learn how to use it correctly. It's great once you get the right technique down.

I bought this product to foam roll my calves and hamstrings as I find this awkward with a regular roller. I’m happy to say it’s much easier to use and seems effective. The knobs on the handles are treat for trigger pointing any hot spots. I like that I can use this roller while sitting in a chair so it’s great for when I’m working.
It’s very easy to adjust the intensity just by pushing more or less with your arms, so you can have as firm or light massage as you want.

My teenage daughters and I discovered Triggerpoint products in a foam rolling class at the YMCA. They are dancers, and found foam rolling so helpful in relieving sore muscles, as well as increasing flexibility. I love how much "younger" I feel after using the products; my aches and pains are reduced and my range of motion increased. We use the massage balls, footballer, and Grid foam rollers. They are very durable and well-made.

Something I didn't know I needed.

Recieved this as a gift in addition to a normal foam roller. It gets the hard to reach spots on my sides and legs. As a bonus it's a great arm workout if your really put the pressure on it. I can also lay in bed and watch TV.

The GRID STK is amazing for those hard to roll body parts, such as the tops of your thighs or back. This product is super easy to use and compact enough to leave out in common spaces without it taking up too much space.

Great fascia treatment

I've had this for 2 weeks and it's worked wonders on my neck, shoulder, knee and elbow pain. An added bonus is it's helped speed healing of the areas I've bruised with deep tissue massage and fascia release treatments.
