Impact protection, finally.

Nike, would you PLEASE make this shoe in a low top version? Let me know. Great shoe. Great impact protection, unlike most all other basketball shoes. I wish Jordan and Lebron basketball shoes had way more impact protection. Maybe the Air Jordan 38 Low that is coming out soon, has more impact protection? Nike is making great running shoes with great impact protection like the Alpha Fly and the Invincible 3. Now PLEASE make basketball shoes with WAY more impact protection, cushion, as even your high end Air Jordan and Lebron basketball shoes have little impact protection. Go up a half size on these. I am an outside shooter, shooting guard.

High-Performance Basketball Shoe That Won't Let You Down

The fit is true to size, and the upper is made of a breathable, supportive fabric. The cushioning is provided by a double-stacked Zoom Air unit in the heel and forefoot, which provides a responsive and bouncy feel. The outsole features herringbone traction that provides excellent grip on both indoor and outdoor courts.

Maximum cushion

If you’re looking for a pair of super-cushioned shoes to either help you get extra bounce OR maybe all those landings hurt your feet and your joints more than they did a few years ago—this is your pair. I honestly think I tried on about 15 different Nike basketball shoes and if comfort and cushion is your aim, you’ll love these. They’re also sturdy but not heavy or rigid, so even if you are trying to move with pace, they don’t feel like moon boots. Excellent shoe.
Runs mostly true to size, but if you’re sort of between sizes depending on the model, chose the smaller size.

Love the color scheme. Quality of product seemed top notch. Comfort felt great. Style is great. Cushioning around ankles felt great. Cushioning feels better than my Jordan 38’s and my lebron 20’s. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 is because the sizing. Nike has been off for,their sizing for awhile now. Ordered a 12 which I usually wear but the narrow toe box just made it seem a little too tight. Returned for a 12.5 hope they fit a little better. If not they will go back as well. Don’t hesitate to get these they are comfy and great looking just be sure to get the proper size.

these shoes are one of, if not the best bball shoes ive ever palyed in! next to the kobe 9&10's im 6'2" 206 lbs. size 13. im mostly down low in the paint. i play(hard) 3 times a week 3-4 games each time. and these shoes far exceed the tests i put them through. very comfortable, light weight, durable, and the cushioning on the heel part of the shoe is amazing! making jumping up and down a delight! got em a year ago and these are still going strong. thier such a great shoe. i bought a second pair last week. if your a real hooper. i highly reccomend getting a pair of these!

Great cushioning...takes a long time to break in.

I have two pairs of the G.T. Jump 1 and loved them. I "jumped" on the opportunity to get the new release. More of a mid-top than a high-top, but feels very stable and supportive. My only complaint is that it took a while to break in. I play twice a week for 2 hours at a time and they didn't break in for about 2 months -admittingly I only wore them every other time initially to see how my old G.T. Jumps felt. Now that they are broken in, the cushion and support are 5*. I like the materials, they seem like they will last long, and the traction has been great so far.

Best cushioned shoe to hoop in since the Lebron 17!

If you're looking for max cushioning? This is your shoe! Nike hasn't made a cushioned shoe like this in years, in my opinion. I have been hooping in the Lebron 17 up til putting a pair of these on. I'm elated I have a more recent shoe to wear to hoop in. I've tried so many shoes but these fit the bill. I'm a 6'2 tweener type, 45, 240 lbs... play 3 times a week, workout others... play in a league vs 20 somethings... my knees are grateful for new shoes! Buy them now if you like cushion and have knee issues. Zero knee pain over last 3 weeks! Zero.
