The plush feel of the Hierro just got a sustainability make over, with the New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v8 in Olivine using a brand-new midsole foam formula, outsole and upper, all focusing on creating the same smooth ride, but with a more environmentally friendly construction.
The New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v8 uses a 100% recycled polyester upper, dyed with a print dye technique that uses less water and energy to gain results. It also features printed components which contain rubber waste to reduce land fill and reuse materials. The Fresh Foam X midsole foam has been tweaked and now uses the highest level of sustainable sugar cane feedstock, at 40%, meaning it has a lower reliance on virgin petroleum. It also uses an update to the Vibram outsole, called Vibram Eco-Step Recycle it contains natural rubber and recycled rubber for a lower carbon component and again, reducing the reliance on virgin petroleum. With the Hierro v8 you can take a run in the great outdoors and know that you have taken part in making it sure it stays great.Description
