From the midfoot forward, a more conventional construction is used to generate pace and power through the late stage of your stride.
A smooth, stretch woven upper manages to both adapt to your foot shape and help keep your foot in position by giving left to right, but maintaining its hold forward to back.
By using a wider outsole, Mizuno have improved stability, while a new decoupled heel design improves shock absorption and helps provide a smooth transition.
