The Gel-Fujitrabuco Sky is a neutral runner developed to be the ultimate Speed trail shoe, in collaboration with three-time UTMB winner Xavier Thevenard, with design elements that decrease weight and improve drainage while providing ample protection. Key to the performance of this shoe are the zoned perforations in the sole and sockliner, using the natural movement and bend of your feet to push excess water out and reduce weight when needed. A comfortable upper sits over the GEL and FLYTEFOAM cushioning with a flexible foot plate, providing both flexible, cushioned feel and protection from rocks or root strewn ground. Elastic laces offer easy adjustment and ease of use on the fly, in a secure fit that won't distract you. Reinforcement where the upper meets the base ensure that debris does not enter the interior and tax your focus. Finally, an ASICSGRIP outsole provides industry leading grip on rocks and roots in wet or dry conditions. The outsole chevron lugs are strategically placed and angled, on the medial in particular, to provide extra traction when climbing up or down hills.Description
