Kids' Nike Football Boots

For most young Nike players, the choice starts with Mercurial or Phantom. Vapor or Superfly. Phantom High or Low. Then Mbappé or Haaland gets involved and the decision becomes a lot less sensible. Shop kids' Nike football boots across the latest junior Mercurial, Phantom and Tiempo ranges at Pro:Direct Soccer.

Kids' Nike Mercurial, Phantom and Tiempo Football Boots

Nike has a habit of making the junior Bootroom look very similar to the pairs kids are watching every weekend.

Mercurial Vapor and Superfly take up a big part of the current kids' Nike football boots range, with Phantom 6 alongside them and Tiempo adding another option further into the collection. There are Club, Academy and Pro models, standard releases and enough Mbappé and Haaland colourways to make choosing by specification fairly optimistic.

Kids' Nike Mercurial: Vapor or Superfly?

Mercurial is the biggest Nike family in the current junior range.

Vapor keeps the low-cut shape, while Superfly adds the higher collar that has become part of the Mercurial look. Underneath that difference, both sit in Nike's closer-fitting speed-boot family, so the decision is often as much about which shape a young player likes around the ankle as anything else.

There is plenty of generation choice too. Vapor XVI and Superfly X remain throughout the collection, while the newer Mercurial Vapor XVII and Superfly XI have started arriving in junior Academy and Pro models.

Then there are the Mbappé editions. If that is the pair they have already picked out, there probably is not much point pretending the standard colourway is still in the conversation.

Kids' Nike Phantom 6: High or Low?

Phantom gives junior Nike players a different feel from Mercurial, with a more structured boot and a choice between High and Low constructions.

Phantom 6 Low keeps the ankle clear, while Phantom 6 High adds the raised collar and changes the look of the boot considerably. Both appear across Academy, Pro and Club versions in the current range, so you can usually stay with Phantom even when the budget changes.

Haaland editions run through several of those levels too, from Club and Academy up to Pro. That makes Phantom one of the stronger options in the Nike kids' range for young players who care just as much about the player and colourway as the model name on the box.

Where Does Tiempo Fit?

Tiempo is a smaller part of the current junior Nike collection, but it still gives Nike players another route if Mercurial and Phantom are not what they want.

Kids' Tiempo Legend models sit alongside the two bigger silos without needing another full lesson on fit or football boot types. If they already know they want Nike but neither Vapor nor Phantom is convincing them, Tiempo is the next part of the Bootroom worth checking.

That is the job of this page: not choosing between every kids' football boot we sell, but narrowing Nike down to the pair they actually want.
