Worn during the 1993/94 and 1994/95 seasons by John Lukic and Mark Beeney, the ’94 home keeper top featured a typically extravagant design, showing off multicoloured shards front and back with spray paint-style stripes on top.
It was a solid couple of seasons for the Whites, finishing fifth in the league in both campaigns, with UEFA Cup qualification secured in 94/95. Memorable matches included home demolitions of Wimbledon, Chelsea, and Swindon in 93/94, along with a long-awaited win against Manchester United at the start of the 94/95 season, as Wetherall and Deane got on the scoresheet to defeat Alex Ferguson’s much-fancied side 2-1.
