Description
Relive The Eagles’ promotion to the first division with the retro Score Draw 1978 Crystal Palace Admiral Home Shirt in white, red and blue.
Worn by the famous “Team of the 80s†- a generation of Crystal Palace academy players expected to challenge the then-dominant Liverpool side at the very top of English football - this shirt was originally used for the 1977/78, 1978/79 and 1979/80 seasons. In 1978/79, Crystal Palace won the Second Division in an incredibly tight race for promotion. Only two points separated Palace in first from fourth-placed Sunderland - who missed out on promotion. The following year, Crystal Palace established themselves as a solid First Division side, finishing mid-table. Selhurst Park was a fortress for that season, as the team lost only 3 home games and held league champions, Liverpool, to a 0-0 draw.
Taking you back to the glory years of Terry Venables, Kenny Sansom and Steve Kember, this shirt is perfect for any old-school Palace fan.
