Caitlin Clark Basketball Collection

The Caitlin Clark Basketball Collection starts with the Nike Caitlin 1, her first signature basketball shoe and a silhouette built around the pace, range and unpredictability of her game.

Clark plays fast. She pushes in transition, changes gears to create separation and is comfortable pulling up from places most players are still thinking about passing. The Caitlin 1 is designed around that movement, keeping the setup responsive and controlled without loading the shoe up with unnecessary bulk.

The new Opticast upper provides lightweight lockdown using cast polyurethane nodes placed at different heights across the shoe. It is designed to hold the foot through cuts, stops and changes of direction, with the pattern itself taking inspiration from the ripple of the three-point arc.

Underfoot, Nike pairs a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit with Cushlon foam. The Zoom unit brings quicker feedback through the front of the shoe, while Cushlon adds cushioning underneath for a setup made to stay smooth when the pace changes. For guards and quicker hoopers, that means cushioning without giving up the closer-to-court feel you want when planting, stopping and getting into the next move.

There is plenty of Caitlin in the design too. Cs appear through the Opticast structure on the lateral side, repeated 2s reference her number on the medial side and stacked Swooshes play on the double C of her initials. Underneath, phrases including "Shoot More Threes", "From Anywhere" and "It Was Never a Long Shot" make the mentality behind the shoe pretty clear.

Nike has also built the older kids' Caitlin 1 differently rather than simply shrinking the adult shoe. Youth-specific adjustments improve flexibility and range of motion for younger hoopers, giving the GS version a setup better suited to how kids move on court.

Different Caitlin 1 colourways will continue to arrive, with details throughout the range connecting back to Clark's story and the driveway court where she developed that now very familiar range.
