The Best Football Shirts 26/27

So far...

We are deep into 2026/27 football shirt release season now. Home kits are landing every week, away shirts are digging through old club colours and third kits are taking the chance to get properly strange.

There are Trefoils, monogram crests, blurred stripes, brown shirts, pink shirts and long sleeves trying to make a comeback. Some of the best football kits of 2026/27 have already arrived. Others will probably look much better once they are under floodlights, covered in rain or worn by someone who scores in them.

So, in no particular order, these are the best football shirts of 2026/27 on our site so far. The list will keep changing as more new kits come out, so do not worry if your favourite is missing. It may not be released yet, or I may have spent too long staring at the collar.

Nike Inter Milan 2026/27 Away Shirt

Knocked it out the park. Clean white, thin blue pinstripes and a monogram crest that feels pulled straight from a classic jersey. One of those away shirts that looks just as good away from the pitch.

adidas Olympique Lyonnais 26/27 Third Shirt

A black shirt inspired by Lyon's funk scene, with vinyl grooves through the body and Three Stripes that look like they are moving to a bassline. It is one of those rare third shirts where the story actually improves the design.

Nike FC Barcelona 2026/27 Home Shirt

I kind of get Netflix opening intro vibes from this one. The stripes have that blurred, moving look and with Lamine Yamal wearing it next season, you already know you are about to get a show.

PUMA St. Pauli 2026/27 Home Shirt

Football as a fashion final boss. Brown kits can go wrong very quickly, but this one gets it right. Jackson Irvine and his lovely moustache wearing it all season only helps.

Nike Chelsea 2026/27 Home Shirt

Chelsea having no front sponsor really plays into this shirt's favour. It gives the design room to breathe and lets the blue and gold details do the work without a massive logo dropped across the middle.

adidas RC Lens 2026/27 Away Shirt

The Trefoil suits this one. Dark grey keeps it calm, then the red and yellow Lens details show up around the collar, cuffs and badge. Proper club colours without covering the whole thing in stripes.

PUMA Borussia Dortmund 2026/27 Long-Sleeve Home Shirt

Normalise players wearing long-sleeve kits again. Dortmund yellow, black details and sleeves down to the wrist. This already looks built for a European night under the lights.

Nike Corinthians 2026/27 Home Shirt

Corinthians do not need much decoration. The soft white base, black Swoosh and heavy crest make this feel closer to a classic club shirt than another overworked modern template.

Nike Paris Saint-Germain 2026/27 Home Shirt

PSG looking like PSG is always a good starting point. The central stripe gives it that proper home-shirt feel again, with enough retro influence without turning it into a straight remake.

adidas Originals Manchester United 2026/27 Away Shirt

Royal blue United shirts always feel slightly different. The Trefoil, red sleeve stripes and red-and-white V-neck pull this one back towards the club's older away kits, while Stormzy wearing it at the World Cup final gave it a fairly ridiculous first appearance.

PUMA Valencia 2026/27 Third Shirt

PUMA have gone nowhere near safe with this one. Two shades of pink, Torino Red and a stretched graphic give it proper fashion-shirt energy. Bold, a bit strange and much better for it.

adidas Originals Liverpool 26/27 Goalkeeper Away Long-Sleeve Shirt

Black, purple, long sleeves and a Trefoil. Goalkeeper shirts are allowed to be louder, but this one keeps it controlled enough to work away from the pitch too. Very 1980s Liverpool, without feeling like it has come straight out of the archive.

adidas Originals Real Madrid 26/27 Away Shirt

The real ones will remember green Real Madrid shirts. Deep green, white details and the Trefoil back where it belongs. It feels like a nod to 2012/13 without getting stuck in the past, and it is probably going to look even better away from the pitch.

More 2026/27 football kits to come

There are still plenty of 2026/27 football kits waiting to land. Some will look brilliant straight away. Others will need a big goal, an away trip or one player wearing the long-sleeve version before everyone suddenly changes their mind.
