Withstand the Grind

Introducing the 2nd iteration of the Air Zoom Vapor Pro. Bringing back all the elements you enjoyed in the original Pro including the low-to-the ground design and the springy Air Zoom cushioning to help you break from baseline to baseline with that familiar Vapor comfort.

Red-Dirt Ready

Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less build-up on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control.

Lightweight Breathability

Durable, reinforced mesh helps keep your feet cool and adds extra support.

Spring Into Action

A forefoot Air Zoom unit offers spring in your first step, helping you get to that return along the baseline or approach the net with suddenness.

Nike Womens Air Zoom Vapor Pro 2 CLY PRM

Take your game to the great and the good of tennis’s second slam with the Nike Women’s Air Zoom Vapor Pro 2 CLY PRM in Sanddrift/Metallic Gold-Rust Factor, inspired by the iconic clay courts that provide some of global sport’s best viewing.
A dynamic classic is remodelled for clay court supremacy, featuring a colour scheme that pays homage to the red clay surface, as well as a golden dubrae for an additional touch of glamour. Bringing back all the elements you love from the original Pro, the Pro 2 is even lower to the ground, giving you an incredibly lightweight court feel for bursts of quick movement. These bursts are further supplemented by a forefoot Zoom Air unit at the midsole, helping you to make sudden, last-second movements off the spot, while a full-length foot frame on the outside of the shoes helps to stabilise your foot during quick cuts, allowing you to make confident lateral movements. In keeping with the need for speed, weight is kept to a minimum by removing rubber in low-wear areas. A lightweight but durable reinforced mesh upper encourages airflow to keep your foot cool while adding support where your foot needs it most. These trainers use Nike Claybreaker technology – strenuously tested on red-clay courts across Europe in multiple weather conditions – to enhance traction and prevent buildup on clay courts. A wide traction pattern and a herringbone outsole with a data-driven design help you control your slides.

Nike

Ever since their first entry into tennis footwear back in 1973, Nike have set the trends that define the shoes we see on-court to this day.

Bringing colour and attitude to a sport famed for its formal dress codes, the Swoosh shook up the establishment in the 70s with some inspired designs and endorsements, signing up first Ilie Nastase in ’73, and then, in 1978, John McEnroe.

Confident and uncompromising, McEnroe was the perfect partner for Nike as they grew their influence in the game, particularly thanks to his personal championing of the classic Air Trainer 1 in the 80s – a shoe that likely wouldn’t have seen the light of day had he not insisted its prototype be developed into a full design.

After McEnroe came Agassi, Courier, and Sampras. All three had some superb shoes that pushed the boundaries for technology as much as looks, with Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge and Sampras’s Air Oscillate featuring industry-leading engineering, just as Federer and Nadal’s shoes have in more recent times.

Rafa’s signature shoe, the Zoom Vapor Cage, remains available today with its winning combination of performance and durability, while Naomi Osaka’s Zoom GP Turbo follows in the footsteps of Serena’s Flare in leading the way for women’s footwear. Elsewhere, check out the NXT range for the latest tech-focused designs, or if you prefer something simple, lightweight, and comfy, the Lite collection has you covered.

Clay Court

Clay court tennis shoes are specifically designed for optimal performance on clay surfaces. These shoes feature a full herringbone tread pattern on the outsole, which provides superior grip on the slippery clay surface, while also allowing the right amount of slide that clay-court play requires. This pattern also prevents clay from clogging the grooves. Additionally, these shoes are built to offer excellent lateral support for the side-to-side movements typical of clay court play. Enhanced durability is often a design focus as well, due to the abrasive nature of clay courts. Choosing clay court shoes can significantly improve stability and performance.
