Founded in 1906 by English immigrant William J. Riley, New Balance is one of America’s oldest sportswear manufacturers, respected around the world for its commitment to quality and comfort.

Taking advantage of their unrivalled experience in running shoes, the Boston-based brand made their name in tennis during the sport’s boom in popularity in the 80s. Their “CT” range – developed in collaboration with Aussie great Roy Emerson – riffed on the successful designs they’d created for athletics, equipping sturdy yet lightweight uppers with cushioning midsoles and stabilising outsoles.
