Since the very start, tennis has been at the heart of Lotto. The court makes up one half of their famous double-lozenge logo, and the first sport shoe they produced was specifically designed for tennis.

That was in 1973, not long after the Caberlotto family had set up in the famous shoemaking district of Montebelluna and established the Lotto name.

Only a couple of years later, their tennis shoes had become so popular that they were able to strike a deal with Aussie phenomenon John Newcombe, who worked with Lotto’s designers to create the Newcombe Signature. Featuring a seamless leather upper, it was ahead of the game when it came to comfort. So began a winning run for the brand that would see them surge into the 80s with a series of Slam-winning shoes, as worn by the likes of Martina Navratilova and Boris Becker.

Today, Lotto tennis shoes remain hugely popular among pros, with hundreds of players on the ATP and WTA circuits choosing to rep the double-lozenge.
