Lacoste AG-LT21 Ultra Tennis Shoes- Black/Turquoise
Designed with your comfort and performance in mind, the Lacoste AG-LT21 Ultra is built with a mesh upper that is super lightweight and breathable, while also featuring durable, non-scuff Kurim forefoot protection. The textile lining also feels smooth against your foot for an irritation-free finish.
Its synthetic and EVA midsole drives energy forwards and provides essential stability, with traditional lace-up fastening allowing you to customise the fit to find a secure and supportive feel that’s unique to you. A rubber outsole ensures durable traction on a variety of surfaces due to the grip-enhancing pods that are essential for high-impact, lateral on-court movement.
Lacoste
It’s easy to see why: the combination of classic French style and functional knowhow provided by Lacoste is impossible to resist.
Their tennis shoe story takes us back to 1958 and the release of the “Rene”. Hey, why not – it was his design. Equipped with a reinforced forefoot, herringbone canvas upper, and ventilation eyelets, the Rene was the first sport shoe made specifically for tennis and would be the inspiration for all their footwear to come.
By the 80s, though the Rene was still popular with players, there were new technologies to plunder, which is exactly what Lacoste did with 1985’s Ardeur, a highly efficient, supportive shoe with a leather upper, a PU-injected midsole, and a hardy rubber outsole.
Four years later, they found the sweetspot of form and function with the all-time classic that is the Indiana. Sleek and simple, the Indy’s layered gusset-cut upper combined a quilted collar with a foam tongue for supreme comfort, making it equally suitable for on-court play and relaxing in the clubhouse.
More recently, we’ve seen several generations of the performance-focused Lacoste Tennis “LT” collection, which began in the 90s and continues to this day in the form of the AG-LT shoe. Developed in partnership with one of the game’s top talents, Daniil Medvedev, the latest AG-LT can trace the origins of its match-winning tech all the way back to the original Rene – every aspect, from the breathable upper to the durable outsole, is designed with the player in mind.
