HEAD Speed MP 2024 Tennis Racket

Showcase your swing with the HEAD Speed MP 2024 in Black/White, the tennis racket that has a softer and more sensational feel than previous iterations, thanks to the introduction of HEAD’s new Auxetic 2.0 technology.

Crafted for players with a fast game, the HEAD Speed MP 2024 weighs in at just 300g, which is slightly lighter than the PRO and makes it easier to handle.

Built to generate the ultimate connection between you and your racket, directional drilling combines increased power with a larger sweet spot, delivering a plush feel upon impact with the ball, even if you hit off-centre.

Designed to deliver unmatched comfort, the Speed MP features Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed, ensuring a pleasant reaction with every shot.

Furthermore, strategically positioned Graphene Inside strengthens the frame, providing stability to optimise your energy transfer from your racket to the ball. Its enlarged power grommets maximise string movement for increased power, with a speed string pattern providing the perfect mix of power and control.

Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic, born in Serbia in 1987, is regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Known for his intense physicality, flexibility, and exceptional return game, Djokovic has dominated men's tennis since the late 2000s. He has achieved multiple Grand Slam victories, and in 2016, became the third man in history to hold all four major titles at once, a testament to his consistent excellence. His extraordinary defensive abilities, combined with his precise and powerful groundstrokes, have earned him a distinguished place among the "Big Four" of men's tennis.

HEAD

A brand with a reputation for innovation, HEAD trace their tennis origins back to the late 60s and the creation of the first aluminium-based tennis racket, the brainchild of company founder Howard Head.

Head, a former aeronautics engineer, began a racket revolution with his idea for light yet strong frames. Attracted by the durability of a metal racket, American icon Arthur Ashe stepped in to give a player’s point of view, assisting with development of the original aluminium frame in 1969. A few years later, a HEAD racket was in the hands of a champion, with Ashe famously wielding his signature Competition to win Wimbledon in ’75.

Since then, HEAD have continued to push the boundaries of racket design, utilising all kinds of space-age materials in the quest for ultimate performance. They’ve had many more champion players using their frames, too, from Agassi and Muster in the 90s to Murray, Djokovic, Sharapova and Stephens in the 21st century.

Their modern range has options for every type of play. There’s the ever-popular Prestige, providing absolute precision since 1987, the versatile Radical with its vibrant paintjobs, and the super-fast Speed, which remains Novak’s racket of choice. More recent additions include the aggressive Gravity, endorsed by Sascha Zverev, the spin-focused Extreme, recommended by Matteo Berrettini, and the explosive Boom, a power-focused frame endorsed by US prodigy Coco Gauff. Whichever you choose, you’ll perform at your best with a HEAD racket.

HEAD Speed

Designed for fast swings and all-court play, the HEAD Speed tennis racket provides a balance of power, control, spin, and touch. The Speed's versatility makes it ideal for anyone looking to dominate with a fast-paced style of tennis, especially aggressive baseliners who like to stay on the move and attack at every opportunity. That's why Novak Djokovic has endorsed the Speed series for so many years, showing off its high-performance materials and technologies on his way to trophy after trophy. A highly manoeuvrable racket, it's available in a range of weights and headsizes to suit your level.

Control Racket

Control rackets usually have closed string patterns – essentially, more strings per area – to increase ball contact and give you more control over your shots. They tend to have thinner beams to allow more flex and often utilise material technologies to make you feel more connected to the ball.
