In the early 80s, having made waves with some of the Swoosh’s most innovative running spikes, Nike designer Bruce Kilgore was tasked to create his first basketball sneaker with the brand, bringing with him a team of experts and engineers and laying the foundations for what would become an unexpected phenomenon.
