Mizuno Morelia Neo II FG

Lightweight for increased speed and improved agility on firm natural ground surfaces, the next generation Morelia Neo II FG are one of the lightest leather football boots Mizuno have ever produced at only 180g.
Crafted by Mizuno with an ultra-thin, super-soft and lightweight Kangaroo leather forefoot, which moulds to the shape of your foot, the next generation Morelia Neo football boots deliver a fantastic personalised fit.

Enhancing the sense of touch and helping to provide a secure fit, the stitch lines on the vamp give these Mizuno football boots a sumptuous quilted feel and superb performance.

With anatomical central lacing, the Morelia Neo offers an individual fit for all foot shapes, while a breathable short mesh padded tongue affords cool and lightweight comfort.

Reducing slippage and rubbing inside these Mizuno football boots, a suede leather lining at the heel, around the collar and underneath the tongue keeps your feet secure.

Incorporating an external heel counter, the lightweight graded Pebax outsole is durable and flexible with a moulded conical stud configuration for reliable traction on firm ground.

Boot Class = Pro

Made with premium materials and featuring some of the best tech on the market, Pro football boots offer professional-level performance at a more affordable price. The obvious choice for serious players who let their feet do the talking.

Firm Ground Football Boots

Firm Ground (FG) football boots are specifically designed for play on natural grass pitches that are hard to medium-soft. The studs or cleats on these boots are usually bladed or conical in shape, and are permanently moulded onto the outsole. They provide optimal traction, allowing for quick turns and sprints while reducing the risk of injury. The number and arrangement of studs can vary, but their purpose remains the same: to provide stability and grip on firm, dry natural surfaces. FG boots are the most common type of football boot due to their versatility on varying grass conditions.

Mizuno

Known for their quality and craftsmanship, Mizuno football boots are the pinnacle of boot design for many players. That’s especially the case with their “Made in Japan” leather boots, which are handcrafted from the most premium materials. They’re so good, some players won’t wear anything else.

Their longest-serving boot, the Morelia, was originally developed in the 80s to offer a lightweight, natural feel to South Americans who’d grown up playing barefoot. The idea was to showcase their flair, touch, and skill, and that’s still the thinking with the modern Morelia, whether you choose the Morelia Neo with its advanced tech or the classic, ever-comfortable Morelia II.

The Mizuno collection also includes the speedy Alpha and the control-focused Rebula, while the Monarcida range offers a more affordable alternative to the Morelia.

Ground Type Guide

Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your football boots, but also to avoid the risk of injury.

Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.

Firm Ground

Boots with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural short-grass surfaces that is firm underfoot but may be slightly wet.

Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot.

FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn.

FG boots are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction.

FG boots used on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
