Made with premium materials and featuring some of the best tech on the market, Pro football boots offer professional-level performance at a more affordable price. The obvious choice for serious players who let their feet do the talking.

The COPA Icon series arrives as a modernised and premium edition of the Copa Mundial series. But fear not, the COPA Icon won’t replace the legendary Mundial – it serves as a lightweight alternative boot for a modern and fast paced game, while still delivering exceptional comfort and feel.

Traditional Look
The COPA Icon drops in a premium “Legend Ink/Gold Met/Wonder Blue” colourway as the third colourway of the new series. A simplistic yet classy aesthetic that underlines the stylish nature of the boot.

Absolute Comfort
The plush k-leather upper sinks into the fingertips when the boot is in hand as adidas delivered the softest leather on the market, fit to carry the COPA name on it.

Lightweight Soleplate
The COPA Icon upper sits on top of a modern lightweight soleplate to ensure that the boot is stripped back in weight and fit for the elite game.

Adidas now have three COPA lines. The Copa Mundial which is for the traditionalists, the COPA Icon which is a lightweight version of the Copa Mundial fit for the elite game, and then the COPA Sense that serves as the modern touch and comfort option for adidas contracted players.
adidas Copa Icon FG
You know what they say: class is permanent. There aren’t many better examples of that than the Copa Mundial, which has been a fixture on the feet of skilful players since its introduction all the way back in 1979.
This modern update features a soft leather upper that conforms to your foot, with classic Copa Mundial stitching mimicking the look of the original and giving that unrivalled close control.
A synthetic collar lining and shaped tongue ensure a comfortable fit, while the lightweight soleplate underfoot features half-moon studs for a combination of straight-line traction and rotational agility.
Boot Class = Pro
Copa
What’s the difference? The modern Copa’s lineage began back in 2016 with the superlight Copa SL, where it branched off from the classics and swapped leather for synthetics. Since then, adi have explored hybrid constructions that blend both leather and synthetic materials, first with the Copa 19 – the first Copa to have a laceless option – and subsequently with the Copa Sense and Copa Pure.
The Copa doesn’t replace the classics, it’s simply a modern alternative, using advanced engineering techniques to give you the ultimate touch and feel on the ball while maintaining the trademark comfort of the series.
Plenty of pros have fallen in love with the new Copa, from Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva to Paulo Dybala and Melanie Leupolz. If you’re the kind of player that prides yourself on a silky touch, you’ll never want to wear anything else.
adidas
Many of the best players in the history of the game have trusted adidas football boots to help them reach their full potential, including Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, and the one and only Lionel Messi.
The 3-Stripes’ pioneering outlook has seen them remain at the forefront of boot design ever since founder Adi Dassler first started making footwear in the 1920s.
From longstanding leather classics like the World Cup and Copa Mundial to more modern innovations like the all-conquering Predator, their boots are always built to combine comfort and performance.
The adidas range includes the X for speed, the Predator for control, and the Copa for touch. Whichever boot suits your style, whether you like to lace up or go laceless, you’ll find options available for every type of surface and every level of play.

Ground Type Guide
Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your football boots, but also to avoid the risk of injury.
Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.
Firm Ground
Boots with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural, short-grass surfaces that are firm underfoot but may be slightly wet. Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort, and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot. FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn. FG boots are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction. Using FG boots on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
