Yeah, it’s black and white but this is no coaches boot, no referees wheels, this is the softest of uppers built for the silkiest of touches. The colour combos will come, trust us, but for now Nike have stripped it back to showcase a boot in its most traditional attire.
Dropping in an Anti-Clog soleplate to stop mud sticking to your boots throughout the soft-ground season, the Premier III is winter ready to help you own the elements in the darker months. At £105 for Anti-Clog this is Nike’s gift to the grassroots game in an even sleeker take on the classic silhouette.
The stitching on the plush K-leather has been tweaked slightly to create specific cushioning zones at the instep and outstep, while a “Premier” overlay tab on the Swoosh combines with embossed branding on the heel for a premium look – it is the Premier, after all. The biggest change, though, is up to you. Nike know lots of players prefer to chop off the tongue, so they’ve added a dotted cutting line to help you keep things neat and preserve the fit if you do decide to ditch it. Tongue or no tongue, the Premier remains the no-nonsense boot for no-nonsense players, ready to dominate pitches around the world once more.
