On Womens Cloudboom Max
The On Women’s Cloudboom Max in Lime Raspberry is a super shoe designed not for the elite, but for runners like you, with pinnacle technology designed to get the average runner through a marathon faster, and easier, taking a chunk off your expected time.
The average marathon time is around 4hours 30, so On have made the Women’s Cloudboom Max for the pack, not just the one or two runners at the front. With all the tech you would find at the front of the pack, it is designed with improved geometries and a more forgiving feel to make you fast, comfortable and efficient over the long haul.
The midsole looks like the one found in the elite shoe, and it uses the same double layer of their pinnacle Helion HF foam to cushion and propel you forward. Minimised Cloudtech again mirrors the elite shoe, but as with the whole shoe, is shaped more towards comfort, cushioning and efficiency rather than pure speed.
A glass fibre-infused speedboard gives a pop of energy but is more comfortable over 4 hours than a carbon plate would be. It is also shaped to support a range of running styles for energised push offs.
An ultralight, breathable mesh upper feels like nothing at all, but supports your foot by moulding to its shape.
