Everyday Mileage Shoes

Everyday mileage running shoes provide comfort and support for daily training sessions, ensuring endurance and durability. These shoes are designed to withstand the wear and tear of frequent use, offering reliability and performance for your regular runs.

Tempo Running Shoes

Tempo running shoes are engineered for speed and agility, optimizing performance during high-intensity workouts. With lightweight construction and responsive cushioning, these shoes excel during your tempo runs, helping runners maintain pace and efficiency.

Race Day Shoes

Race day running shoes are crafted for maximum speed and efficiency, designed to propel you towards their personal bests. These lightweight and minimalist shoes prioritize agility and responsiveness, ensuring every stride counts on the big day.

Why Should You Have a Shoe Rotation?
Rotating running shoes can extend the life of each pair by allowing them to fully dry out and have foam rebound between runs, reducing wear and tear, and potentially lowering the risk of injury by changing the stress your body goes through when running in different models.

Altra Womens Paradigm 6

Combining structured support with luxurious comfort the Altra Women’s Paradigm 6 in White/Green features a brand-new midsole and an only there when you need it GuideRail to give you the best of both worlds.
The Altra Women’s Paradigm 6 uses a brand-new Ego Max midsole to give you a ride that is lightweight, cushioned and responsive, a generous stack height gives a premium plush feel under foot.

It also uses their GuideRail technology that is designed to provide extra medial support, but only when your stride needs it. An updated and trimmed down InnovArch feature encourages better foot placement with each stride.

Like all Altra shoes it also follows the “Difference of Three” philosophy, that sees three core ideas run through everything they do.

A wider Footshape toe box allows your foot to spread, giving your big toe the space it needs to remain in a strong position for maximum stability and power.

Fit4Her technology ensures that men and women’s shoes have a true gender specific fit for enhanced performance.

Lastly, they use balanced cushioning with a zero offset (heel to toe drop) to aid optimal alignment and encourage a low impact landing.

Paradigm

The Altra Paradigm uses guiderails to provide structure that only comes into play when you need it. A highly cushioned, plush, and versatile shoe, it offers comfort and support over any distance.

Regular Cushioning

Regular cushioning offers a blend of lightness, comfort, and ground feel. Popular for shorter distance racing as well as training and daily mileage running, the lower stack of midsole foam offers inherent stability and a lighter feel on your foot when compared to max-stack shoes.

Structured

Structured shoes offer stability and support that is particularly helpful for those who overpronate or have flat feet. If you overpronate, you belong to about 60% of the population who land on the outside of the foot but turn in too far through the transition from landing to toe-off. Without correction, overpronation can lead to injuries and an inefficient running style.

Modern shoes use a variety of different methods to assist in correcting your gait, but most include increased support in the upper and stabilising midsole systems that guide your foot gently through the most efficient path.

Altra

Experiment is often the precursor to innovation, and that was certainly the case with Altra, whose origins lie in the humble toaster oven their founders used to melt heel counters off running shoes.

The eventual result was the brand’s zero drop “Balanced Cushioning” used in most of the range, that puts the heel and toes the same distance from the ground. This gives optimal alignment, cultivates better form, and encourages a low-impact landing.

Another key feature of Altra shoes is the wide toe box, known as the “Footshape”. By allowing your toes to relax and spread out naturally, it lets your big toe find the optimum position for stability and power.

In Altra’s women’s footwear, Fit4Her technology caters to the specific form of the female foot, with designs based around a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, and a longer arch.

Road Running

It might say road, but we don’t just mean pounding closed-off streets on race day. Road shoes are predominantly for the pavement.

They feature flat rubber traction for confident footing in the city and enhanced cushioning to soak up the strain of every stride.

Best for Everyday Mileage

To cope with all the miles you run, shoes for everyday mileage are built to last.

Thicker rubber on the outsole withstands huge amounts of pavement pounding, and a thicker, more durable upper also helps to improve longevity.

The other priority is comfort, with soft materials around the entrance and midsole foams designed to cushion, feel great, and last.

Because of the extra protection, daily mileage shoes tend to be heavier than their race day and tempo counterparts.
