Description

Prepare to crush with control wielding the YONEX VCORE PRO 97 G tennis racket, as endorsed by three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka.

Featuring Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM), the new VCORE PRO 97 G absorbs unwanted vibrations to give you more accurate feel and control over your shots. VDM is wrapped around the graphite in the grip section of the handle, reducing vibrations by up to 30% in the key area of the racket nearest to the hand. In addition to the performance benefits, VDM also minimises stress on the arm, limiting fatigue and helping to prevent injury.

The VCORE PRO also boasts YONEX’s trademark ISOMETRIC frame shape, increasing sweetspot size by 7%, along with NAMD graphite in the throat of the racket, which maintains flex during fast swings for supercharged power. Lock Booster grommets enhance energy transfer by encouraging greater string contact, resulting in huge spin potential for aggressive forehands.

The G edition of the VCORE PRO 97 features an open 16x19 string pattern for huge spin potential, and weighs in at 310g – an ideal weight for confident players who enjoy hitting clean winners.

Please note that YONEX VCORE rackets do not include a protective head cover.

Tennis Racket Profile Guide

Power

Power rackets feature stiffer constructions and thicker frames that provide easy depth and added pace with minimal effort, helping players generate power on every shot. Compared to spin rackets—another popular category in today’s game—they tend to produce lower shot trajectories while still delivering strong baseline depth without requiring as much physical input. These rackets are often available in 98 square inch head sizes for players who want a balance of power and control, while the more standard 100 square inch versions offer maximum forgiveness.
