YONEX call it the FlexCon System: a combination of two technologies – Flex Fuse and Flex Force – that work in tandem to improve performance. Flex Fuse, a shock-absorbing polymer, is integrated within the resin that makes up the graphite in the shaft, allowing the racket to flex more on ball impact while also enhancing comfort. Flex Force, meanwhile, refers to YONEX’s tried-and-tested application of highly responsive NAMD graphite in the upper throat, which generates fast snapback for increased spin potential. The shaft itself is longer than on previous generations for even more flex, with a shorter shaft end section adding to the effect. To complement all that flexion, the new VCORE PRO also features a slightly thicker, boxier beam that gives a significant boost to power and stability, making the racket a viable option for any playstyle.
