Crafted for players looking for a power-focused racket, the Ultra 100 V4 features integrated FORTYFIVE that’s strategically embedded into the layup to provide a softer, more comfortable feel along with enhanced stability, upgrading the delivery of easy power for its players. PowerProfile geometry is the key technology in the new Ultra line. It encompasses an integrated Perimeter Weighting System that takes the volume of the current PWS and blends it over a larger area to open up the string bed, allowing for more power off the strings while maintaining stability. For more forgiving performance, the expanded Sweet Spot Channel extends the cross strings in the sweetspot by 3.5mm. A cavity on the inside of the frame also increases grommet movement for greater power potential and reduced bulk in the beams for an aerodynamic finish. The third geometrical enhancement is the Inverted Power Rib that now leads to increased torsional stability and structural integrity for straightforward, comfortable power. A Crush Zone grommet system compresses at ball impact to further boost power and ball dwell time on the strings, while Parallel Drilling provides a consistent, more forgiving string bed response to promote your shots.
