Description

The new Wilson Blade 98 18X20 is designed for today's big-hitting, aggressive game players and is the top most played franchise racket on the ATP and WTA Tour. A thinner more flexible beam gives a strong connection and feel for the ball.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a demo racket. For full details of our demo programme, head to our FAQs page here.

The Wilson Blade 98 18X20 uses a dense string pattern to provide stability, and classic control.

It introduces FeelFlex technology which is an evolution of the FreeFlex technology developed for the Clash series which uses strategically placed carbon mapping in the frame for enhanced racket flexibility and stability. What does this mean to you? Increased flexibility and more connection to each shot, allowing you to feel the ball fully and rip it back at top speed with more control.

Wilson have used top grip taper to provide a better feel for the top hand placement and they have reduced the spec variance between rackets to provide a more consistent range.

The Braided graphite construction gives a pure classic feel, and Parallel drilling provides a more consistent and forgiving string bed response.

Please note this racket will come strung.

Please note that all Wilson Blade rackets come without a protective head cover

Tennis Racket Profile Guide

Power

Power rackets feature stiffer constructions and thicker frames that provide easy depth and added pace with minimal effort, helping players generate power on every shot. Compared to spin rackets—another popular category in today’s game—they tend to produce lower shot trajectories while still delivering strong baseline depth without requiring as much physical input. These rackets are often available in 98 square inch head sizes for players who want a balance of power and control, while the more standard 100 square inch versions offer maximum forgiveness.
