Description
Originally developed in collaboration with Ricky Ponting to suit his dynamic style of play, the Kahuna now has a new partner: England powerhouse Jos Buttler. Buttler's input in the design of the bat has resulted in a few slight alterations to better suit the modern game. A slightly higher spine combines with big edges that extend further up and down the bat, while the already minimal scalloping has been reduced to give an even fuller profile. The recognisable feel of the Kahuna with its significant bow and lightweight pickup remain, as does the curved face that Ponting used to love so much. So you can still hook and pull at will, in addition to producing all the outrageous shots Buttler demonstrates with regularity in T20 games. Updated with a new look for 2025, the latest Kahuna shows off its Spira grip in traditional series colours, while the pattern from the grip extends into the stickers.
