The Hoka Mach 5 has an all-new upper that uses a single layer creel jacquard engineered mesh. Stripped back, and with a lay flat tongue, it features an articulated heel collar for a more dialled in fit.A new lightweight, but resilient foam formed into the Profly+ construction is used in the midsole, providing an instantly bouncy feel underfoot, for improved responsiveness and an energetic ride.
The new upper and midsole foams mean a decrease in the overall weight, already low thanks to the rubberised EVA outsole.
