Description
Designed for experienced players looking to combine spin-friendly precision with a classic Prestige feel, the HEAD Prestige Tour 2023 features incremental adjustments to its predecessor while maintaining the elements you know and love. Like the previous generation, this racket focuses on control and feel. With its 16 x 19 string pattern and slightly thicker 22 mm beam, the Tour is the least forgiving in the range, yet its smaller 95 sq in headsize and slightly softened beam still delivers precision and a plush feel for aspiring pros. Uniquely flexible Auxetic 2.0 - which refers to the carbon fibres that are arranged in such a way that they contract upon ball impact to give a stable feel - is now found in the handle as well as the yoke, extending the optimised feel. To strengthen the frame, the Prestige Tour utilises Graphene Inside (Graphene 360+) in key locations to provide a stable hitting experience, making it ideal for players looking for predictable targeting and a soft feel.

Tennis Racket Profile Guide

Power

Power rackets feature stiffer constructions and thicker frames that provide easy depth and added pace with minimal effort, helping players generate power on every shot. Compared to spin rackets—another popular category in today’s game—they tend to produce lower shot trajectories while still delivering strong baseline depth without requiring as much physical input. These rackets are often available in 98 square inch head sizes for players who want a balance of power and control, while the more standard 100 square inch versions offer maximum forgiveness.
