Description

Dominate the game with the HEAD Gravity S tennis racket in Yellow/Purple, as endorsed by German superstar Sascha Zverev.

Refreshed for 2021, the Gravity range offers ultimate control over the ball thanks to a unique teardrop head shape. The rounder shape shifts the sweetspot upwards, lengthening cross strings in the upper-middle section of the racket for a more forgiving feel. Elsewhere, deeper string grooves in the shoulder area improve stability, while Graphene 360+ technology, complete with SPIRALFIBER sections in the lower third of the hoop, gives just the right amount of flex for players who like to maximise control. In terms of power, the Gravity benefits from the efficient energy transfer of a Graphene-based construction, and the shape of the head also produces a little bit of extra punch thanks to those extended crosses. The S version of the Gravity features a larger 104-inch head compared to its 100-inch stablemates, along with a thicker 24-millimetre beam. Together they provide a more forgiving performance, giving easy access to additional power and increasing the stability of the frame.

Tennis Racket Profile Guide

Power

Power rackets feature stiffer constructions and thicker frames that provide easy depth and added pace with minimal effort, helping players generate power on every shot. Compared to spin rackets—another popular category in today’s game—they tend to produce lower shot trajectories while still delivering strong baseline depth without requiring as much physical input. These rackets are often available in 98 square inch head sizes for players who want a balance of power and control, while the more standard 100 square inch versions offer maximum forgiveness.
