Everything you know and love about the Novablast redesigned and rebuilt specifically for the trails, the ASICS Blazeblast in Black/Sandstorm is an all-new shoe that takes the energy of the Blast range off-road for the first time.
Built for light, less technical terrain, the Blazeblast features a shallow 2.5mm lug outsole designed for efficient and smooth strides on unpaved trails, which also makes it perfect as a road-to-trail option. It uses their ASCISGRIP rubber compound for grippy, tacky hold and confident footing.
In the midsole, the fun starts, by using the same FF Blast Max from shoes like the Novablast, you start with energised cushioning under your foot. Then ASICS have created a trail specific Trampoline Pod in the forefoot, to create an extra bounce that propels you through your toe-off.
The upper is designed to be tough enough for the trail and smart enough to wear beyond, with an engineered woven upper, trail specific design cues and flexible comfort. Its lightweight, breathable and secure.
