If I Pre-order a product, will I receive it on the release date?
The Pre-Order date provided when you placed your order is the anticipated dispatch date from our warehouse and is based on the delivery schedule advised by the manufacturer.
We'll inform you of any delay as soon as possible by email and let you know the new expected dispatch date.
If you've chosen to personalise your Pre-order item, please also allow an additional 4-6 days for dispatch. -
Can I return an item that has been personalised?
Sure, We will be happy to help! If you happen to receive a personalised item that you're not satisfied with, we understand how frustrating that can be. However, please keep in mind that personalised items cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturer's fault. But don't worry, if you believe there is an issue with the product or there was a mistake made during the personalization process, our friendly customer service team is here to help. Simply send an email to customerservices@prodirectsport.com with a photo of the item and a brief explanation of the issue, and we'll do our best to provide you with the best possible solution.
We do have a soft spot for our Hero Id customers, so if you have a personalised order with us and there is an issue, let us know and we'll see what we can do to help. Will Pro:Direct re-stock sale items?
We don't tend to re-stock items once they go on sale - often items will be reduced in price once the line/colour has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

Stringing Service - What Tension should I pick?
The most commonly used string tension for a tennis racket typically falls within the range of 48–60 pounds (22–27 kg). However, the exact tension depends on a player's style and preference:
Lower Tension (45–50 lbs / 20–23 kg)
- More power
- More comfort
- More spin potential (due to increased string movement)Higher Tension (55–60 lbs / 25–27 kg)
- More control
- Less power
- More precisionMost club players use a tension of around 50–55 lbs (23–25 kg) for a balance of power and control. Professional players often customise their tension based on surface, weather, and personal preference.

Stringing Service - Premium or Standard String?
When customising your racket using our stringing service, please select one string only, premium or standard. We do not offer hybrid string setups.
Premium strings generally provide superior performance, using specialised materials and technologies to focus on characteristics such as power, feel, and control. They’re the strings typically used by the pros on tour. Great for advanced players who want the best of the best.
Standard strings offer excellent performance at a more affordable price and, depending on the type of string, are often more durable too, making them ideal for club and recreational players.

Care instructions for my personalised item
Please take a moment to read our recommended care instructions.
- Always wash shirts inside out to protect the personalisation
- Never wash with other garment types
- Unless they are the same colour, always wash shirts and shorts separately
- Wash at 30°C or below
- Never mix light colours with dark colours
- Avoid washing cotton with polyester in the same wash
- Never tumble dry personalised kit
- Iron at low temperature and never directly onto any artwork
*Use of fabric conditioners, 3-in-1 detergents and sodium percarbonate stain removers should be avoided.

How do I know that I've ordered the right size?
We use UK sizes as our main sizing format (this may vary a little depending on Brand and model of boot).
When ordering footwear, you will have the option of selecting between UK, EU or US sizes - Please note, when you receive your order confirmation email it will show the comparative UK size.

Can I personalise my boots with just a flag?
Yes. If you want to keep things simple and have a flag on its own with no name personalisation, simply select the relevant option in our customisation menu.
To give your boots the best possible look, we’ll position the flag on the medial (inner) side for embroidered personalisation orders, or on the lateral (outer) side for heat pressed personalisation orders.
