Pioneers of the game for more than half a century, COBRA GOLF strive to develop technology that benefits every level of player.

That ethos began back in 1973 with their founder, Australian amateur Tom Crow, who sought to offer the golfing public “great clubs at a fair price”.

Just two years later, COBRA created a brand-new club category with the launch of the Baffler hybrid. Taking inspiration from catamarans as they skim across the sea, the Baffler featured a special plate that saw it glide across the grass, resulting in more forgiving performance.

By 1991, Greg “The Shark” Norman had joined the team and John Daly led the tour in driving distance using the COBRA Ultramid Driver. In 1994, COBRA launched the first set of oversized irons, which quickly became the tour standard.
