Gunn & Moore Diamond 606 Cricket Bat

Dominate the middle like Ben Stokes with the Gunn & Moore Diamond 606 Cricket Bat in Blue/Black, developed in collaboration with the England star.
Made to meet the demands of all-action England phenomenon Ben Stokes, the Diamond is GM’s most dominant bat shape. Its traditional, full blade profile allows leeway for off-centre hits, while an extended swell lends itself to both front- and back-foot play, ideal if you’re the type of batter who likes to go for shots all around the ground. 606 Superior seasoned bleached Grade 3 English Willow Minor blemishes with some colour on one edge Fitted with good quality treble spring cane handle GM NOW! and ToeTek™ finish fitted as standard

Gunn & Moore

One of the world’s oldest and most respected cricket brands, Gunn & Moore have been at the forefront of bat design since 1885.

That was the year Nottingham-born England batter William Gunn partnered with local businessman Thomas James Moore to form GM, and so began a mission to create the best cricket bats ever seen.

Known for his scientific approach to batting at the crease, Gunn applied the same philosophy to batmaking, recruiting skilful crafters to create his vision of the perfect bat by way of painstaking processes.

Fast-forward a century, and that idea holds true today: while GM still use expert crafters to check and finish their bats, the initial shaping of the wood is performed by machine.

Custom-engineered specifically for making bats, the five-axis cutters at GM’s Nottingham factory use computer-aided manufacturing to produce blades with absolute precision. So, when you order a GM bat, you already know exactly what you’re getting. And the next time, and the next time.

Gunn & Moore’s bats have been used by greats of the game throughout their history, all the way through to modern-day England hero Ben Stokes, who uses the Diamond to devastating effect. And thanks to their DXM manufacturing processes, you can have exactly the same profile as Stokes if you so desire. “Play with the best” is the GM strapline – why wouldn’t you?

Grade 3

Very good quality willow that offers a balance between performance and looks. A popular, middle-of-the-road option, Grade Three bats are produced in large numbers and often represent the best value for money of any grade. Cosmetically, as much as half of the blade can be coloured wood, and you might find small knots or specks on any area of the bat. The face should typically have at least five grains, but they might not be as straight as on higher grades.

Please note that these are typical characteristics. While we work closely with our partner brands to provide the best bats for you, we are unable to guarantee a specific number of grains or the overall appearance of the willow on individual bats.
