The Nike x Keely Hodgkinson Collection

The Nike x Keely Hodgkinson Collection

Olympic gold medallist Keely Hodgkinson has designed in collaboration with Nike, her own range of training and racing shoes to help you make it to the very top.

Having already smashed the indoor 800m world record, and with her sights set on the outdoor version too, Keely is at the top of her game right now, Nike have decided to celebrate with her own collection.

The colour design runs right through the pack, with black, midnight blue, and inevitably for someone who has spent her whole career chasing it, gold making an important contribution.

What shoes are involved and why?

The Pegasus 42 is there for your daily miles, while the Vomero Plus makes a great recovery run shoe, as well as a cushioned runner for long sessions. The Vaporfly 4 makes a great training tool for faster sessions, as well as being an amazing race day shoe.

Which Shoe is best for you and why?

Nike Pegasus 42

42 years on and the Pegasus is still Nike's go-to daily trainer, offering comfortable miles thanks to its ReactX midsole and full-length Air Zoom unit. While the other shoes on this list might offer more speed, you can’t argue with durability, style, comfort and tried and tested milage.

Vomero Plus

Vomero is Nike's Max cushioned daily trainer range, and the Vomero Plus is the lightest and fastest of the three. Thanks to a high stack of ZoomX foam, the same foam used in Nike's elite race shoes, you get incredible cushioning, with a responsive, energised feel. Perfect for recovery runs, long runs and training sessions.

Vaporfly 4

Originally introduced to help Eluid Kipchoge break the 2-hour marathon mark, the Vaporfly has since evolved into a truly versatile race day beast. Carbon plated and featuring ZoomX foam, it gives speed and efficient strides over any distance from 10k to 26.2 miles. Perfect for race day, and an amazing training tool for the fastest sessions in your repertoire.
