First Look: PUMA ULTRA 7 Hyper Rush
PUMA has given the ULTRA NITRO 7 a fresh look with the new Hyper Rush, and it's a good one. A clean white upper fades into metallic turquoise and purple towards the toe, with an oversized PUMA Cat stretching across the forefoot. Underneath, a glossy purple soleplate and mint-coloured studs complete a colourway that should look particularly good under the winter floodlights.
The Hyper Rush keeps the technology of the ULTRA NITRO 7 Ultimate, with a lightweight ULTRAWEAVE upper providing a close, streamlined fit. GripControl Pro and 3D grip zones add texture across the ball-contact areas, while NITROFOAM Elite brings responsive cushioning underfoot. The SPEEDSYSTEM 2.0 soleplate and FastTrax 2.0 studs are built for quick acceleration and sharp changes of direction.
Both laced and laceless versions get the Hyper Rush treatment. The laced edition offers greater adjustability across the foot, while the laceless version provides a cleaner striking surface. Both come in PUMA's top-tier Ultimate specification, with FG soleplates designed for firm natural grass pitches.
Christian Pulisic is set to wear the Hyper Rush on pitch, joined by some of PUMA's rising talents, including Reigan Heskey, Mateus Mané, Gabriel Mec and Freya Godfrey.
